2020 Extreme Volleyball Coaches

Angela Whitehead

Director

Angela, and her husband Dustin, started this club five years ago to create new opportunities for players whom they felt were being overlooked in the "big" clubs. They reached out to the surrounding community of Trophy Club and suddenly had eight teams their first season, one of which qualified for nationals. The following year their club grew to 10, then 16, and now Extreme is home to over 20 teams for the 2020 season. Angela personally interacts with every athlete that walks into the gym and provides a positive and competitive, family atmosphere for the athletes to be a part of. She travels to national qualifiers with the teams and dedicates endless hours to ensure the athletes have a memorable season.

Celeste Davis

Coaches Director

This is Celeste's second year with Extreme. She has coached many different age levels throughout her 15 years of coaching. She has coached the THESA Riders Varsity to a National Championship in 2017, a second place National Championship finish in 2016, and a third place National Championship finish in 2015. She also coached the THESA Riders to a State Championship in 2017 as well. At Extreme, she works with our Extreme Academy program to give beginners a solid skills foundation to build upon. She also coaches our younger club teams.

Ashlee Austin

This is Ashlee’s fifth year with Extreme Volleyball Club.  She has 7 years of competitive play experience which include a NCHVC National Championship title, Most Valuable player for the THESA Riders, and a State runner up champion for THESA as well. She has coached volleyball for 8 years for various age groups. She has coached the JV THESA Riders to a second place National Championship finish and a third place State Championship finish. She coaches our younger age groups at Extreme.

Celeste Davis

11 Black Head Coach

This is Celeste's second year with Extreme. She has coached many different age levels throughout her 15 years of coaching. She has coached the THESA Riders Varsity to a National Championship in 2017, a second place National Championship finish in 2016, and a third place National Championship finish in 2015. She also coached the THESA Riders to a State Championship in 2017 as well. At Extreme, she also works with our Extreme Academy program to give beginners a solid skills foundation to build upon.

Alex Tran

11 Black Assistant Coach

This is Alex's fourth year with Extreme. He has been coaching our younger teams and helping them develop their skills. He has also helped with our pre-club programs. Alex played competitive club volleyball at the University of Texas where he was the OH, Setter, and DS.

Edward Struble

11 Metro Head Coach

This is Edward's first year with Extreme. With a background in playing and coaching soccer, he transitioned into volleyball in recent years when his oldest daughter began playing, and upon her graduation, he threw himself into the world of coaching. He served as director for the former Cowtown Volleyball Academy where he oversaw the instruction of new and beginning players, as well as coached the club's 13U team. Edward is passionate about teaching and enjoys seeing his players strive to reach their fullest potential by staying positive and working hard right alongside them. Because of this, Edward plays volleyball almost every day of the week with friends or his own kids.

Anna Wilson

12 Black Assistant Coach

This is Anna's second year with Extreme. She played competitively for 7 years at Fort Worth Fire and Integrity. She earned a State and National championship in 2017 while playing with the THESA Riders. She currently serves as a head Junior High coach with THESA, and this will be her 3rd year to coach club. 

Vicki Wilson

12 Teal Head Coach

This is Vicki's first year with Extreme. She played volleyball all throughout her high-school and college years. She is a former collegiate track and volleyball scholarship athlete at Cal Lutheran university where she holds two records for shot put and javelin. Vicki has been coaching for the past 12 years. She has coached many ages, including pre-club, and was a former Director of Metro Programs with other clubs. She also coached at Fort Worth Christian for their freshman and junior varsity teams as well.

Brenda Pargras

12 White Head Coach

Brenda has grown up in the volleyball world. She played club for 10 years before committing to University of Southwest where she received the 2016-17 female student-athlete of the year. She was the 2016 RRAC setter of the year and earned RRAC First-Team honors. She was named RRAC setter of the week 6 times. Brenda is currently playing at Texas Wesleyan University and this will be her second season coaching with Extreme.

Erikka Fuhr

12 White Assistant Coach

This is Erikka's second year with Extreme. Erikka's first two years coaching were as an assistant coach at 360 for the 13's and 15's teams. Erikka has 10 years of competitive play under her belt. She spent 7 years of her club career at ACE, but decided to play at 360 her senior year. In that season, she received several collegiate offers from Junior colleges to Division 1. She committed to Temple Christian University where she helped her team to the NJCAA Regional Tournament as a setter/defensive specialist. Erikka recently graduated from UNT with her bachelors in Criminal Justice. While attending UNT, she served as a captain, vice president, and social media chair for the UNT Women's Club Volleyball Team for 3 years.

Mallory Fowlkes

13 Black Assistant Coach

This is Mallory's first year with Extreme. She has been coaching for three years with several different clubs and at the YMCA. On her Varsity school team, she was first-team All-District for four year straight. She played for 13 years in club also. She loves developing the younger ages and helping them achieve their goals. 

Jennifer Stinson

13 Teal Head Coach

This is Jennifer's second year with Extreme. She has 24 years of competitive play experience as a middle/right side hitter. She led her high school team in New Mexico to state district after a 13 year drought and was named all district and was awarded for having the most blocks in her district. She played for the University of Southwest in New Mexico and was named Most Improved Freshman. She has coached for 18 years through many different ages.

Ali Khalili

13 White Head Coach

This is Ali's first year with Extreme. He began playing volleyball as a child in Iran and came to the USA in 1978. He has played indoor and beach competitively and was one if the highest ranked beach players in Texas for over two decades. Ali played on the AVP when it first came to Dallas and he has traveled all over the country on various national tours. Ali played against Karch Kiraly when the ball was made of suede! Ali has been a coach and mentor to many of Texas' top players, including most of the coaches at 692. His experience and patience make him a natural coach.

Jordyn McKenna

14 Black Head Coach

This is Jordyn’s third year with Extreme Volleyball Club. She has 14 years of competitive play experience including collegiate volleyball at Dominican College where she was included on the American Volleyball Coaches Association(AVCA) Division II All-East Region squad her senior year. She earned 2 consecutive appearances on the All Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference(CACC) First Team, and was chosen as team captain for 3 years. She earned her 1,000th career dig in 2011, and she was named the Dominican College Women’s Volleyball Most Valuable Player. She has coached club volleyball for 11 years.

Lyndsey Teenier

14 Black Assistant Coach

This is Lyndsey's third year with Extreme. She played competitively for 10 years including one year of collegiate volleyball. She was first team all district and Academic All District her last two seasons at New Braunfels High School. She coached at Centex for six years and Alamo North for one year.

Tiffani Neuville

14 Teal Assistant Coach

This is Tiffani's first year with Extreme. She previously coached at Drive Nation and Pass It On. She played competitively for several years in both High School and Club. She has her Bachelors in Kinesiology and is able to help the girls understand how the little movements in volleyball skills can affect their power and level of play.

Carrie Brown

14 Purple Head Coach

This is Carrie's first year with Extreme. She has been coaching in a private school setting for 5 years and has over 16 years of club coaching experience. She is also a TASO and USAV Referee going on 20 years. She was recruited to play soccer and volleyball at the University of North Carolina State in college where she excelled on both playing fields. She continues to use her extensive knowledge of the game to motivate athletes to be the best they can be.

Kaillie Ralston

14 Purple Assistant Coach

This is Kaillie's first year with Extreme. She has 13 years of competitive play experience including collegiate volleyball at Williams Baptist University where she earned Second Team All-Conference her Sophomore year. She also played two years of competitive sand volleyball. Kaillie has been coaching for four years at the club and middle school level. She enjoys blending court and sand volleyball to help improve the athlete's skill set.

Anna Wilson

14 Metro Head Coach

This is Anna's second year with Extreme. She played competitively for 7 years at Fort Worth Fire and Integrity. She earned a State and National championship in 2017 while playing with the THESA Riders. She currently serves as a head Junior High coach with THESA, and this will be her 3rd year to coach club. 

Scott Stover

15 Black Head Coach

This is Scott’s first year with Extreme. Scott has coached for 26 years at every level from high school, to club, to division one college programs at SMU and TWU. He has been coaching beach volleyball for 11 years at 692 and was chosen to be one of three coaches to go to Russia in 2010 with the USA Beach program. He was selected to be a speaker at the American Volleyball Coaches Association in 2015. Scott has developed many of the top beach juniors players in the country over the last nine years. He has coached 9 teams to national championships on the USA Beach Tour and the BVCA and had dozens of players selected to train at the US Olympic Training Center each year.

Kaitlyn Nowak

15 Black Assistant Coach

Kaitlyn began playing indoor and beach volleyball her freshman year of high-school. Prior to playing volleyball she was a competitive gymnast for 10 years. During her second year of club volleyball, she played under Scott Stover and double qualified for the 2018 Junior National Championship. She now plays beach full time on the 692 Beach Volleyball National team. 

Sam Bacon

15 Teal Head Coach

This is Sam’s first year with Extreme. Growing up in Huntington Beach California, Coach Sam started playing volleyball when he was 12. He played competitively in high-school and it continued into college during his time in the Navy. He started coaching in the early 90's as a volunteer for Coronado High School Boys Varsity. He recently started coaching club again 4 years ago in the NTR. His personal goal is to never be a player's last coach by helping players continue to love the game while he pushes them to be the best they can be. 

Kim McMaham

15 Teal Assistant Coach

This is Kim's first year with Extreme. Kim has her masters in counseling psychology. She has been in pharmaceutical sales for 20 years and is certified in physical education for K-12.

However, her passion is coaching. She has coached cheer-leading, basketball, softball, and volleyball for 25 years. She has officiated volleyball in the NT region for 8 years as well. She has coached club volleyball for 7 years for ages 13-16U. She is also CAP I certified.

Jesus Cortez

15 White Head Coach

This is Jesus's first year with Extreme. Jesus started playing volleyball at age 8 and made it to nationals every year from ages 14-18. He was also the setter of the year in 11th grade. Jesus went on to play from UNAM (University in Mexico City) and had the chance to play semi-pro overseas. Additionally, he had the greatest pleasure to play in numerous USAV tournaments where he made it to nationals in the A division and won 3rd place in the AA division being recognized as one of the 6 best players.

He was a head coach at Club Texas for boys 17's and 18's and took both to Nationals in 2018. He took his 15's girls team at Image to nationals in 2016. He has been coaching for over 10 years and has had more than five of his players recruited to D1 and D2 universities.

Ben Campbell

15 White Assistant Coach

This is Ben's first year with Extreme. His volleyball career started back in community college. at TCC, where he caught the bug for wanting to learn and grow in the sport. He quickly got addicted to it which turned into him playing for USAV and NAGVA tournaments over the course of several years. He ended up playing club at UTA for a while but found that he had a huge passion for coaching. He started coaching little kids at sportsplex a few years ago and then transitioned to coaching at NRG for their 16.2 team. He is excited to teach the girls the art of volleyball. 

Sam Bacon

Chuck Brewer

16 Black Head Coach

This is Chuck’s first year with Extreme. Chuck began playing volleyball in college and played for the University of North Texas where he led the team in assists in 1991. Chuck began playing beach volleyball professionally during college and was one of the top players in Texas as well as an AVP ranked player sponsored by Sideout Sportswear from 1988-1993.
Chuck got into coaching 9 years ago. He is a very passionate and enthusiastic coach with a deep knowledge of the game.

Donzie Scott

16 Teal Head Coach

This is Donzie’s first year with Extreme. Donzie Scott joined the Air Force in 2013, and has completed two tours overseas. He played a year of volleyball overseas for the the Air Force, as well on the Air Force baseball team. He played two years of collegiate volleyball at Texas State University, where he graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice. He started coaching a 16u national team with Controlled Chaos VBC in Houston in 2013 and then later coached the 15u team. Donzie also coached the Fort Worth Fire 17.1 team.

Stefanie Campbell

16 Teal Assistant Coach

This is Stefanie’s fourth year with Extreme Volleyball Club.  She has coached for seven years including assisting top teams, three years at Dallas Juniors coaching 12U-13U, Levine Academy, and JCC Maccabi games. She grew up playing competitive soccer including club and many championship titles. She takes her competitiveness with her to the volleyball court to prepare her girls to be relentless. She also coaches soccer for inner-city kids, giving them a shining light in their tough situations.

Brittany Jackson

16 White Head Coach

This is Brittany's second year with Extreme. Coach Brittany began playing at age 13, earning All-Conference and All Academic honors in JH and HS. She was a six-rotation player as a setter, middle, or outside hitter. She continued as a six-rotation middle hitter at Siena College in upstate New York while earning her B.S. in biology. As a Siena Saint, her team posted four conference championships and two NCAA tournament appearances. Coach Britt earned her Masters Degree in Biology where she spent three years as an assistant coach for the Lady Wildcats. She has coached a variety of youth programs throughout the US for the last 15 years. She is also CAP 1 Certified.
